The Leadership Foundation, founded in 1990, is the educational and charitable arm of the International Women's Forum. The purpose of the Leadership Foundation is to use the experience and expertise developed by members of the International Women's Forum to benefit women worldwide and to educate the public about the contributions women can make, and are making, to society.

The Leadership Foundation is a training and personal development organization that promotes professionalism and leadership in all fields and disciplines, including business, academia, science and world affairs.

Through the Leadership Foundation, groundbreaking initiatives such as the Leadership Foundation Fellows Program as well as research projects are conducted to promote women's prospects around the globe.
